Merry Christmas!

This was our first year to spend Christmas without any kids or grandkids. Den loved it--but it was a little too quiet for me. The good news was that I didn't spend hardly any time in the kitchen! We went over the the Gusty's for Christmas dinner and were entertained by James, Ben and their cousin Donovan. I didn't take very many good pictures, but here's a sampling.
Me and my Mr. Doody.
A James sandwich, as Ben loves to wrestle and pile on top.
Dan and Shauna were exhausted, as they go to the midnight Christmas Eve mass every year. They were just trying to warm their tootsies.
These cool inflatable race cars go with a WII game. The boys couldn't really play the game, but they loved sitting on them.

Pre-Christmas in Marietta

We traveled down to Marietta to have an early Christmas with Wendy and her family. We had a wonderful time, even though the weather on the trip home was a bit scary. They bought a live tree that they will then plant in their yard.
Allison, Riley and Elayna are modeling their new fairy costumes.

Sam (3) enjoyed his new motorcycle.

Grandpa Den with Allison (6) Wendy started calling her Allie Pie with she was little, so naturally Den called her Pizza. This trip he even shortened it to "Peetz."

I don't know how I missed taking a picture of Dallin (10). He was probably hiding from me. Den and the kids teamed up for a big nerf gun battle. To gain the upper hand, Den donned fairy wings and camouflage.
