We headed over to Shauna's for conference and dinner. It was a beautiful day and the trees and daffodils were all in bloom. Happy Easter, everyone.
It was too bright for Benjamin aka Little Chubbies.
The Easter egg hunt is on!
The old hiding in the fence routine. We always mixed the dyes altogether at the end of the process and made one "black" egg. Dan's family did the same and called it the "egg of death." Just another tradition being kept alive:)

Shauna made this beautiful cake for dessert. James decorated the top with berries and was very proud of his creation.
After dinner, Den brought the cake into the dining room and informed James that he was ready for dessert and going to eat the whole cake. James became very upset and had to have a little timeout. That grandpa, he just doesn't know when to quit!
James loves to cook and was helping prepare food for the grill.
Benjamin loves the pouch! But he can be a little grabby. In fact he pulled the glass pitcher off the counter and dropped it on the floor. Crash! We had a lovely time with Pat and Jim Gusty and Dan's sister Tory and her family.
